Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects in California. This position focuses on DSA work and requires a professional who can manage construction processes efficiently from start to finish. The Superintendent will coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee all aspects of on-site construction, including scheduling, safety, quality control, and ensuring that project deadlines are met.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, owners, architects, and DSA inspectors to ensure that the project meets all requirements and objectives.
• Subcontractor Management: Manage and supervise subcontractors, ensuring their compliance with DSA regulations and project requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed daily reports, submit required documentation to DSA, and manage project records.
• Safety: Enforce site-specific safety plans and promote a culture of safety on the construction site.
• Assist project manager and estimating in the creation of work plans and CPM schedules.
• Schedule and sequence day-to-day activities and take necessary action to ensure the project objectives are met.
• Create and maintain timely, orderly, and efficient project document flow in collaboration with the project manager.
• Manage field teams to ensure high performance and progressive production using core values.
• Meet regularly with the owner and designer to update them on the status and progress of the work.
• Ensure all required permits or licenses have been obtained.
• Maintain good relations and communications with all involved in the project, including the public, and hold weekly "toolbox talk" safety meetings with site staff.

Qualifications

• Education requirement is a BA degree.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, first shift.

Benefits

As this is a supervisory position, the role offers competitive pay and benefits, with a salary range between $100,000 and $115,000. Expect approximately 50% travel time as part of the role's responsibilities.
